1. This Government served as a temporary government, which prepared elections for the Third Knesset.
2. The four General Zionists members (Peretz Bernstein, Yosef Sapir, Yosef Serlin and Israel Rokach) resigned from the Government after abstaining in a non-confidence vote against the Government due to its position on the Kestner Trial.
