Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today spoke with Prof. Arieh Warshel and congratulated him on winning the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. "Congratulations! You are doing great things. This is exceptionally impressive. We are proud of you and proud of the people who were at the Technion and the Weizmann Institute of Science and moved them forward. I will be pleased to meet with you when you arrive in Israel," the Prime Minister said.
Prime Minister Netanyahu asked Prof. Warshel to explain to him about the research for which he won the Nobel Prize. Prof. Warshel said that the research in question was carried out while he was in Israel.
