Prime Minister's Office
 


In accordance with the Law of State Property 1951, only authorized representatives of the Office, who are approved by the Government, are allowed to commit in the name of the Office.  Authorized representatives are allowed to commit only within the agreed-upon bounds allocated for that purpose in the Annual Budgetary Law or in the framework of agreements of authorization to commit.  Accordingly, listed below are the Office’s authorized representatives, and the limitations of the ability to commit, as determined in Government Resolutions and legislature:

Prime Minister’s Office

A. Director General of the Office, together with the Financial Comptroller – unlimited sum.

B. Senior Deputy Director General, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – up to NIS 1 million.

C. Deputy Director General, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – up to NIS 500,000.

Transactions Related to the Activity of the Government Press Office
A. Director General of the Office, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – unlimited sum.

B. Administrative Coordinator in the Government Press Office, together with the Office Comptroller or his deputy – up to NIS 25,000.

Transactions Related to the State Archives

A. Director General of the Office, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – unlimited sum.

B. State Archivist, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – up to NIS 250,000.

C. Administrative Coordinator of the State Archive, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – up to NIS 50,000.

Transactions Related to the Activity of the National Security Council
A. Director General of the Office, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – unlimited sum.

B. Head of the National Security Council, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – up to NIS 500,000.

C. Deputy Head of the Organization and Operation Council, together with the Financial Comptroller or his deputy – up to NIS 50,000

Transactions Related to the Activity of the SELA Administration
Director General of the Administration or his senior deputy, together with the Financial Comptroller of the Administration – unlimited sum.

Transactions Related to the Activity of the Government Publications Bureau

A. Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, together with the Financial Comptroller of the Prime Minister’s Office or his deputy – unlimited sum; or with the Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 3 million; or with the Assistant Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 50,000.

B. Director of the Bureau, together with the Financial Comptroller of the Prime Minister’s Office or his deputy – up to NIS 4 million; or with the Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 3 million; or with the Assistant Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 50,000.

C. Deputy Director of the Bureau, together with the Financial Comptroller of the Prime Minister’s Office or his deputy, or with the Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 1 million; or together with the Assistant Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 50,000.

D. Director of Publications, together with the Financial Comptroller of the Prime Minister’s Office or his deputy or with the Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 200,000; or with the Assistant Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 50,000.

E. Senior Director (senior advertiser) or Coordinator (advertiser), together with the Financial Comptroller of the Prime Minister’s Office or his deputy, or with the Treasurer of the Bureau or with the Assistant Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 50,000.

F. Head of the Department of Ongoing Announcements (for the purpose of communicating announcements to the media only), together with the Financial Comptroller of the Prime Minister’s Office or his deputy, or with the Treasurer of the Bureau or with the Assistant Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 50,000.

G. Senior Coordinator (for the purpose of communicating announcements to the media only), together with the Financial Comptroller of the Prime Minister’s Office or his deputy, or with the Treasurer of the Bureau or with the Assistant Treasurer of the Bureau – up to NIS 30,000.
