Prime Minister Ariel Sharon met this morning with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s special envoy, Intelligence Minister Gen. Omar Suleiman. 

In light of progress in the security talks with the Palestinians, Egyptian President Mubarak has invited Prime Minister Sharon and Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to meet on Tuesday, 8.2.05, at Sharm el-Sheikh.

Prime Minister Sharon has accepted the invitation. Additional details will be announced separately.
