Prime Minister Ehud Olmert today (Monday), 10.9.07, received the 2007 Statistical Abstract (http://tinyurl.com/2gabfo) from Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) Chief Statistician Prof. Shlomo Yitzhaki.
Prime Minister Olmert commended CBS personnel on their professionalism. Regarding the data, he said: “While there is no doubt that the good sense of a growing economy has found expression in this volume, we are currently seeing only the beginning of the results of the growth. I am certain that the next statistical abstract will contain even more good data that will be the result of our socio-economic policies. In any case, even these data show that we are in line with respectable European nations.”
