Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and hi wife Aliza,  visited a Child and Family Center in Tiberias, the establishment of which was made possible by the Government plan for dealing with children and youth at risk, along with Project New Beginnings, which was initiated by Aliza Olmert in conjunction with various ministries and the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.
 
Prime Minister Olmert said: "It is heartwarming to see how this place, which began as Aliza's dream and later in the government plan, today, helps mothers and their children.  Government plans do not always come to fruition so quickly but here, all those involved – from the Social Welfare and Social Services Ministry, the Industry, Trade and Employment Ministry, the Construction and Housing Ministry, the Joint, the Tiberias Municipality and the Prime Minister's Office – were mobilized."
