PM Ariel Sharon statement at the socio-economic cabinet meeting: |
|
| 16/12/2002 |
Tomorrow we will submit the State budget for its second and third
reading in the Knesset.
This is not an easy budget, but the situation is not easy.
We are obligated to pass this budget in order to safeguard the stability
of the economy and Israel's credit rating. Support for the budget
tomorrow is the real test for national responsibility for politicians
from all the parties. This is a test - there is no room for personal
considerations over the national interest and responsibility.
