Prime Minister Ariel Sharon today (Sunday), 30.3.2003, appointed Shalom
Turgeman as his Diplomatic Adviser. For the past two years, Mr. Turgeman
has served as the Prime Minister's Deputy Diplomatic Adviser and Acting
Diplomatic Adviser.

Shalom Turgeman is a Middle East specialist and former senior Foreign
Ministry official. He served as the first spokesman of the Israeli Embassy
in Jordan, Director of Information at the Israeli Embassy to the United
Kingdom, and as Diplomatic Adviser at the Israeli Embassy in Jordan.
