Prime Minister Ariel Sharon called Israel’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Zvi Cohen, and was informed regarding the terrorist attacks which were carried out in Taskent this afternoon.

The Prime Minister voiced his support of the Ambassador and the Israeli delegates in Uzbekistan.

The Prime Minister also expressed his sorrow at the killing of local Embassy employees in Tashkent.  Ambassador Cohen told the Prime Minister that all Israelis in Tashkent are well.
