Approximately 30 families from the northern Samaria community of Homesh will move to Kibbutz Yad Hannah in the Emek Hefer area in the wake of an agreement which was achieved between the Disengagement Authority and representatives of the communities.
 
According to the agreement, Yad Hannah will become a cooperative rural community.  All residents of both communities will become full partners in agriculture and will receive a dunam of land on which to build homes.
 
The rehabilitation of the community’s infrastructure and the construction of public buildings were assured in the framework of the agreement.
