Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert spoke this evening, with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. 

They discussed the friendly and warm nature of bilateral relations and the need to enhance them further. 

Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan said that he views Israel as a close friend of Turkey; he added that he also views Acting Prime Minister Olmert as his personal friend and said that he would work to further develop bilateral relations in all areas. 

The two men agreed to meet after the Israeli elections.
