Prime Minister Ariel Sharon remains in serious, yet stable condition. Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem announced that the vital signs – pulse, respiration rate, blood pressure and body temperature – are normal and stable. An ultra-sound examination carried out following the removal of the brain shunt showed that there was no expansion of the brain lobes. An EEG test, which measures brain activity, was performed on Friday, and showed activity in both hemispheres of the brain, which is in accordance with the Prime Minister’s level of consciousness.
