Following is a statement made by the Director-General of the Hadassah Ein-Karem hospital, Prof. Shlomo Mor-Yosef:

“The Prime Minister was admitted to the Hadassah Ein-Karem hospital a half an hour ago.  The diagnosis is a severe stroke. 
For the purpose of diagnosis and treatment, the Prime Minister is sedated and respirated.  The Prime Minister is currently at the Imaging Unit for a more accurate diagnosis of the essence and scope of the stroke”.
