Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Cabinet Secretary Yisrael Maimon today agreed that the latter will continue in office until 1.6.07. 
 
Cab.-Secy. Maimon has served since March 2003, under Ariel Sharon and Ehud Olmert.  He had planned to conclude his duties after the establishment of the current Government but acceded to Prime Minister Olmert's request and has remained in office.
 
Prime Minister Olmert thanked Cab.-Secy. Maimon for his great contributions and his professionalism.
