Prime Minister Ehud Olmert today held a discussion with representatives of the various security services on the issue of maintaining the Israeli security establishment's relative technological advantage.
 
Prime Minister Olmert instructed the security services to increase the integration of women in their various technology programs in order to make better use of Israel's personnel potential.  The Prime Minister also accepted a National Security Council (NSC) recommendation to expand the number of quality personnel recruited for the IDF's various programs for outstanding students.  He also accepted a second NSC recommendation to prepare plans to assess the various ways of encouraging outstanding students from Jewish communities around the world to come and contribute to the security establishment in the science and technology fields.
