The National Information Directorate in the Prime Minister's Office, in cooperation with the Israel Government Portal, todaylaunched a special website that concentrates Government ministries' activities and services for residents in the western Negev and the area adjacent to the Gaza Strip.  The site, nicknamed "Oz" is available at http://www.oz.gov.il.

The site contains a wide range of content, such as regarding benefits and assistance to residents, an interactive forum for questions and answers, and information about volunteering, structural reinforcement and civil defense, and compensation for workers and employers; information for persons with special needs and essential information about what to do in an emergency, according to areas, etc.  The site also contains updated instructions from IDF Home Front Command.

An effort will be made in the coming days to add content to the site and expand the services offered through it.
