Prime Minister Ariel Sharon spoke today (Tuesday), 25.9.2001, with UK
Prime Minister Tony Blair and expressed the anger and disappointment in
Israel over British Foreign Secretary Jack Staw's comments
Prime Minister Sharon emphasized that, "There is no difference between
terrorism and terrorism, and murder is murder. There are no terrorists
who are good guys and every act of terror is horrific." The Prime
Minister added that as a state which has been struggling with terrorism
for many years, Israel will unequivocally stand up and assist in the
global fight against terrorism.
Prime Minister Sharon acceded to Prime Minister Blair's personal request
to meet with Foreign Secretary Straw.
