Prof. Bolek (Boleslaw) Goldman
Prof. Bolek (Boleslaw) Goldman was born in 1938 in Poland.

At the outbreak of the War, he was one year old.  For three years, his family hid in the woods.  After most of his family died, his grandmother took him to Warsaw with false documents, and they lived there as Poles until the end of the War.

In 1957, he immigrated to Israel, and studied medicine at the Hebrew University.  He was badly wounded in the Six Day War.  He worked for many years as a physician at Tel Hashomer Hospital, and even served as Hospital Administrator.

Prof. Goldman teaches at the Tel Aviv University Medical School, and serves as Chairman of the public committee for determining the health basket.  He has, to date, published over 200 scientific articles.
