Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu today, at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem, met with over 20 ambassadors from EU member states and told them that in light of recent reports, it was important for him to emphasize that he has complete confidence in Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman. The Prime Minister added that he knows that Foreign Minister Liberman is fully committed to peace and security and that he is an important member of the elected government of the democratic State of Israel.
Prime Minister Netanyahu noted that before his 14.6.09 diplomatic speech at Bar-Ilan University, he had consulted with Foreign Minister Liberman on the content of the speech. "Foreign Minister Liberman will play an important role in implementing the policy presented in the speech," the Prime Minister added.
