The Palestinian writer below claims that a large flock of sheep have been prevented for several weeks (by the security fence) from reaching their nearby pasture to feed, and that as a result the animals are all rapidly starving to death.

An investigation of this complaint conducted by the IDF Coordination & Liaison Administration and the relevant military officials revealed that the allegations are baseless.

The soldiers on duty at the gates are authorized under explicit instructions to allow movement of flocks through the gates.  It is possible that a specific terror attack alert resulted in a temporary prohibition of movement for farmers and their flocks on a specific date, but it is certainly not the general policy.
